Introducing Our Philanthropy!
We are thrilled to introduce our collaboration with For Love of Children, a 100% volunteer agency, with the mission to serve over 6,000 children in the greater Dayton area who are neglected, abused, in foster care or who are in need of community resources. With twelve very proactive programs in place, they strive to better the lives of the children who they feel so lucky to serve! The Delta Nu Chapter is ecstatic to build a strong relationship with such a special non-profit organization whose mission is focused on improving the lives of children in our local Dayton community. Our chapter is grateful to have many opportunities to volunteer, get involved, and donate to For Love of Children.
One way our chapter has been able to collaborate with FLOC is through our chapter’s micro-business, “Have a gUD Day.” We recently relaunched HAGD this past spring, and through that effort, our merchandising committee was able to profit from its merchandise drop and personally deliver the proceeds to FLOC. During their visit to FLOC’s headquarters, they were given a tour of the building and learned more about the initiatives FLOC has in place to help children in the Dayton community.
